Donald Frazer at 34 by trade a weaver, is much distressd with severe cough, pain of his breast, his back & his head. He is also affected with dyspnoea to a great degree, which is especially distressing to him when walking. The cough is attended with but little expectoration. It is particularly distressing to him in the morning & evening & then it is commonly followed when severe by vomiting. He complains of much lassitude & prostration of strength. Pulse about 80 small & soft. Tongue clean, Appetite much impaird, Belly regular, Sleep much interrupted by the cough. The above complaints commenced about three weeks ago He imputes them to cold. He is generally affected with these complaints about this season every year. But they have been at present more severe than usual. Cap. Pulv. Ipecae Ji Emet nec non sumat bis indies Vin Nicot gr XX ex Ag. Cyantho. 17 The vomits operated well & he has some sickness from the drops. He thinks the quantity of his urine somewhat encreased. But his cough still continues very severe. Cont. Vin. Nicot. sed repet. ter de die nec non sumat on. m. Pulv. Crem. Tart comp. coch. Par. March 31. Is entirely free from his cough. Dismissed.
