    No 17. Agnes Mitchell at 23.

    Sympt in this case such as arise from many diff causes.

    And cannot be consid as charact any partic disease.

    Often are conseq of obst. Menst.

    And if acct of pat. to be relied up little doubt in referr. to this cause

    And from restor of disch may exp remov.

    This in diff situat to be effectd on diff. prin.

    But in circum of pres [case] should exp. more from electr than any other remed.

    To this therfore should natur [think] of having recourse

    But at pres. one circum object to employm.

    Uncertain viz whether want of Men. may not be effect of pregn

    Often pretend by those wish to proc abort. that obstr. from other causes.

    Hence in use of active remed caut.

    Indeed indep of asser of pat. if acct given of affect to be cred. can have little susp in pres case.

    For by sixth month other marks of pregn should have app.

    And must own here disp to give cred to patient.

    But upon whole thought it better to attend to sympt for week or two.

    And if no fresh ground for susp. shall then prob. have recours to electricity.
