    Helen Smart

    (1785-1786)

    16. Helen Smart, last patient in our list, has chiefly applied for assist in conseq of viol. headach.

This headach you will obs. at times accomp. with epistax.

From which some presumpt that connected at least with state of [illegible] in head.

Am however inclind to think that in this case Cephal. prin from stom ailm.

And these indeed constit, although not most urgent yet most num tribe of sympt.

Hence attempt to comb. even headach by stomach med.

And if these success. will tend not a little to confirm opin as to nature of disease.
