    Tibby Green

    No13. [Janr] 5th 1783.

    Tibby Green at 48 unmarried a cook, about eight o’Clock every morning is seizd with coldness & shivering which continue alm an hour & are succeeded by encrease of heat followed by a clammy sweat which continues through the greatest part of the day. She sweats more profusely through the night & sleeps very little. She says she is somewhat emaciated being formerly very fat.

    Her urine is very red & in small quantity but her legs never swell towards evening.

    P. quick & feeble. Tongue natural at present. Belly costive

    Catamenia disappeard about two years ago.

    Last year she had the Influenza since which she has not enjoyd good health. But was seized with her present symptom six weeks since while residing in a Marshy situation. She has taken no medicines.

    7. The shivering fit this morning has been less considerable than usual.

    Cap. Pulv. Ipecac. Ji. [pos] Emet. vest. & sumat. cr. P. Cort. Peruv. ℥ i. om. her ad. guan vicum in opum post parox.
