Hamilton Bowie at 27 Has a discharge of yellowish matter from the vagina attended with constant pain & weakness in the small of her back & loins She is unable to retain her urine & has some heat in passing it. She complains of frequent pains & distension in the stomach & bowels, with flatulence & acid eructations. She complains also of severe headach. App indifferent, much thirst pulse 72. Tongue natural belly regular. Catamenia regular as to their periods but in small quantity. On the first day of their appearance she is much distressd with sickness gripes & general uneasiness. These complaints are of a years duration & attributed to fatigue Rx. Pulv. Alum gr X Valer. Sylv. JiMcap dos om. m. & vesp. 17 Has taken her powders regularly without any inconvenience Her menses appeard on Tuesday last & continued only for two days. But the discharge was during that time excessive & she has since been affected with pain in her head & back. But she thinks that the Leucorrhoea is now somewhat diminishd. Cont Pulv. Alum. sed aug. dos ad gr XV 24. Has taken the powders regularly & the Leucorrhoea is somewhat abated but she still complains of pain in her back. Appetite good belly regular.
