Compl of this patient seemd to be prin at least, depend on state of Mest disch. And that, depend not on obst but on being merely scanty. Had reason therefore to hope, that from change of mode of life, or like, more to be expected than from use of remed. Accord strongly, recommnd a suggest of her own, that should leave pres. line, of being serv. in Ednr, for country life. This howevr could not easily do, till term of pres service expired. In mean time therfore, was but natural to try something, both with view to remov of affect, & mitig of sympt. Of these the most urgent, were headachs, & stom compl. On this acct, had recourse to sacred Elix. From which, while improved app., expected also some benef. as acting upon infer. part of alim canal. As from stim there, being propag. to syst of uterus, more regul & [equal] circulat, might be induced. Was also nearly at least with same intent, that had recourse to foetid pills. Latter med however, hardly begun, when menst. disch. app. And whether from these, or any othr cause, was more in natural way, & with much less uneas, than had formerly been the case. Was intent therfore to persist in use use, till succeeding period During interval howevr, some sympt occurd, for allev of which other pract seemd to be indic. Thus for severe headachs had recourse to use of Valer. And for restraining looseness to [Mixt] of Elect Japon with a prop of Theb. Tinct. From these remed, sympt against which directed, were removed. And succeeding menst. disch, though of long contin, yet in no other respect unnat. In this situat, then reckond it unnecess, that attend should be contin And accord at last report dismissd. Recov. howevr am disp to attrib. much more to operat of nature, than to any remed employd.
