Pulse slow & of natural strength. Tongue natural belly regular. Thirst natural. His general heath is pretty good, only he is sometimes troubled with flatulence & his appetite is then impaird. He had a fall eight months since just below & on the tender part of the Os Ilium. The skin was not broken. He was not bled at the arm but had three leeches applied after the accident as near as possible to the part injured but they took very little blood from him, & gave him no relief. For some time he had no feeling in the parts adjacent, but he has lately been gradually recovering it. He does not find his pains affected by any change of weather. He has applied spirits of wine & camphor to his thigh & used considerable friction but has found no advantage from it. He also applied a blister which gave him some little temporary relief. He has taken no internal medicines & never used electricity. Adeat machinam electricam protidies & eliciantur scintilla lenes partibus affectis. Habeat Spirt. Vin.
