David Minto at 18th A Baker of a fair complexion, light coloured hair & eyes, has a speck on the Cornea of the left eye, with which he at present sees very little. He complains that his affected eye waters in the morning. There is however at present viz one p.m. very little discharge & but little appearance of inflammation. P. Tongue & Belly natural. He has from infancy been much subjected to Ophthalmia. He has had a blister applied behind his ear with temporary advantage. Has used no other remedy. Octr 25 Habeat. Pulv. Ophthalm ℥i. impon paux. oc. affect. om. n. Novr 8th Has continued the use of the Pulvis Ophthalmicus since admission & seems to have derivd some advantage from it.
