May 23 Collington Has a weakness [illegible] in ability of motion of [the] left side passage a difficulty of speech so much as to make him scarcely intelligible appt good – by bound These comp began in Fby last & he can assign no particulr cause for them but was on board a ship & got a severe stroke on [the] left hip which swelled much after [the] stroke & a month after this [the] prest complts took place he was three weeks in [the] hospital. [Abt] 2 months ago & got there repeated blisters [the] warm bath & electricity, but witht relf since he left [the] hospital he grew worse but soon mended & is now better than he was at first Rx. G.
