Case of this patient I consid as not without singular. And by no means pos. or decided in opin with regard to disease. From affect of teeth, sever of which much decayd, some ground for susp that all compl. may have origin from that cause. That teeth a cause of many diff diseases cannot be denied. And there are pract who to this source are disp to referr every affect where least shaddow of probab. Not unfreq however teeth manif diseas where either conseq of other affect or tot [unconn] with it. And this I suppose to have been the case in pres. inst. + Might however have tried applic common in Rheum. As such had recourse to blister & to extract of Hyosciam. Of formr need here say nothing. And with regard to latter may observe that from anod power well calcul. to allev pain. With this effect opens Belly. Contrary remarked with this patien Led to Aloet Pill – Relief – [illegible] trial of [illegible] Pains of head by nosol. referrd to several diff gener. Is however of much more conseq. to determ cause from which proceed. And among others none perhaps more freq. than a Rheum affect of integum. This take to have been case in pres inst. And consider affect being conf. first to one side of head then to other as afford no obj to this doctrine. After long contin of disease before came under our care could not here look for speedy cure. And not improb. that in end might have been entirely disappointed. >+ Partic Rhododend. Electricity & Merc friction on paind part. Pract the effic of which in this country at least still to be determ by farther exp. But of all which am I own disp to entert a favourable opin.
