    After these observations on new cases must correct mistake concerning one spoke of at last lecture Case viz of Jean Holbert at 10.

    Then observed that from appearance ulceration in Labia pudenda & tumour & with suppuration in super [ inquir] glands should have pronounced it Syphilis.

    But trusted to information of mother

    To scrofula being hereditary in family

    And to [assertion] that never exposed to venereal infection formed different opinion.

    Considered it as Scrofula & began treatment accordingly.

    Since that however her mother has discovered that exposed to venereal contagion.

    And accordingly have now altered plan of treatment of which shall afterwards speak
