She at times perceives the sensation of a ball rolling in the left hypochondrium, which stretches across the abdomen exciting much pain till it be generally relieved by a discharge of flatus. She complains also of constant pain about the region of the loins with much general debility

She says that for some weeks past her legs have appeared swelled at night, & have retained the impression of the finger. Her catamenia have not appeared for these six months. Pulse at present 80. Belly regular. Appetite impaired. Sweats towards morning but particularly about her breast.

She has been affected with these complaints for six months. But they have been much aggravated within these three weeks. She has had no medicines but Thebaic Tincture which always procured relief from the pain of the abdomen.
