    DEP/DUA/1/40/32 (Normalised version)

    James Thomson

    (1786-1787)

    No32. James Thomson at 64

An example of catarrh in a man far advanced in life.

Cannot however have here name of Catarrh Senilis

For while patient not before [had] to it, when came under our care only of ten days standing.

And was immediate effect of exposure to cold.

Age of patient & variable state of weather against speedy recovery.

But if continues tolerably mild reason to hope that may take place in no long time.

And flatter myself that this somewhat forwarded by remedy on which have put patient composite powder of Cream of Tartar.
