    DEP/DUA/1/40/29 (Normalised version)

    Alexander Paterson

    (1786-1787)

    No 29

    Alexander Paterson at 24

An evident example of Tinea Capitis.

But in several respects peculiar as shall afterwards point out.

And I own not without doubts how far shall soon be able to overcome it.

Have attempted cure by topical application of Mercury.

Under form of Unguent Citrini Nitric Acid

But to aid operation & prevent bad consequences the crude antimony as means of increasing determination to surface.

And probably with same [intention] an issue in neighbourhood of part or use of gentle purgative.
