    DEP/DUA/1/40/07 (Normalised version)

    Tibby Deason

    (1786-1787)

    No8. Tibbey Deacon at 28.

With regard to case of this patient am not without doubts.

As far as her own account to be entirely credited appears chiefly under form of colic.

And of that species described by Sauvages under title of Colic Bilios

But to be observed that here chiefly attributed to obstruction of menstrual discharge.

A circumstance which while may be true is at same time as shall afterwards show, grounds for suspicion.

Hence mean for some time rather to obviate symptoms & attend to [appearance] than try any plan of radical cure

And is on this account that have prescribed Pill Foetid cum Aloe.
