    James Liddle

    (1786-1787)

    No4 James Liddle at 30.

Subjected to an eruption of herpetic kind.

A disease no less common than troublesome.

But at same time both less frequent & less troublesome than was in this country some years ago.

An affection which though apparently remedied soon again apt to return.

But as formerly yielded to medicine hope that for time at least may again obtain same effect.

Antimony crude & Unguent Citrine Mol.

But have thought of trying an application in some respects at least similar to what before used, viz Lime water united with Olive oil.
