    Martha Anderson

    (1785-1786)

    February 11th

    32. Martha Anderson at 19.

At a loss what opinion to form of case.

If account to be relied upon may indeed with some degree of probability refer all symptoms to want of regular menstrual.

And must acknowledge that see here no particular circumstance which would lead to entertain suspicion.

But at same time wherever even possibility of pregnancy this circumstance to be had in view.

In this case therefore have contented myself with merely ordering some aloetic pills.

And shall not probably have recourse to any powerful or active medicine, till can with more confidence form opinion as to nature of case
