William Gardner
(1785-1786)
In case of William Gardner have many of these symptoms which are common attendants of worms.
But which at same time, may proceed also from any uncommon irritation of alimentary canal. And which I apprehend are in this case to be attributed, to weak & irritated state of that organ. Am therefore attempting to combat by Vinum Rhei conjoined with aromatic At same time adding proportion of Laudanum both to ease pain, & prevent medicine from acting as purgative.
