    Barbara Orrock

    (1785-1786)

Principle complaint to which Barbara Orrock subjected affection of alimentary canal.

Or to speak more strictly those stomach ailments generally known by title of Dyspepsia.

And although not many months ago subjected to considerable Haemoptoe, yet consider, that as having little connection with present ailment.

At same time, must be allowed, that affection somewhat of complicated nature

And not improbable that after [removal] of some symptoms, others may become even more urgent.

Is with view to stomach affection that have had recourse to mixture of Tincture Amarum & Tincture Aromatic.

And chiefly on account of looseness, that have combined these, with proportion of Thebaic Tincture.
