    No41 February 19. 1785

    Cath Forbes at 50 is troubled with a very heavy pain in the fore part of her head, which at times is attended with great heat. She is affected also with some degree of inflammation in her eyes. In every other respect she enjoys perfect health. Appetite pretty good. Belly regular. Catamenia have not been present for some years past. Six weeks ago her present complaint appeared.

    No cause is assigned for this affection & she has used no medicines. Cap. bis in septim. Pulv. Jalap. comp. ℥ i. nec non habeat Solut Saturn ℥ii pro colyr.

    26. Had sickness at stomach & vomiting from the first dose of the powders. But the second operated well & the affection of her eyes is much better since the use of the Saturnine solution

    But she complains of much sickness at stomach. Headache easier. Interm. Med. & Rx Tinct. Aromat ℥i.
