    No36 February. 5 1785

    David Henry at 36 is troubled with excessive pain in the region of his stomach, which is at times accompanied with flatus, & borborygmi. The pain is sometimes so severe, that whatever he takes is immediately thrown up again.

    Belly in general natural. But he says that a Diarrhoea always attends the vomiting. Appetite pretty good, excepting when the pain is acute. This complaint has continued more or less for upwards of six months. He has used no medicines.

    12. Stomach complaints much easier since he began his medicine, from which he feels no uneasiness, but he thinks it has had some effect in binding his belly.
