Ann Dryburgh at 34. Her spirits are much depressed, & she is very anxious about the event of her complaints. She frequently observes something like a ball in her left side. It seems to move about in her abdomen for some time before it rises up to her throat. After this much wind is belched up & the sense of stricture ceases. A fit of sneezing occurs every morning & returns at other times of the day. She often [illegible] & [yawns] especially after eating. She is also troubled with pains in her feet & about her right hip joint which was formerly dislocated. She was much affected by a circumstance which occurred twelve years since & her spirits have never been perfectly recovered. Belly costive, menses return at intervals of three weeks. they are very regular & not very abundant. Cap. Tinct Fulig. ℥ ii ex Ag. Cyanth. om. m. & vesp. 20 Has taken the Tincture Fuliginis as directed & it has in general had some effect in producing a discharge of wind. She is now less distressed with the yawning [illegible] & pain in different parts of her body but she has been much affected with pains in her stomach & belly, particularly during the menstrual discharge which ceased a few days ago. Cont. Tinct. Fulig. u. a 27. Has still considerable eructations after the Tinctura Fuliginis. Her other symptoms continue much as before. Cont. Tinct. Fulig. u. a.
