George Kemp
1783
No18. December 12th 1783.
George Kemp at 14 has an eruption of red coloured spots over the whole surface of his body which after some time have scales formed upon their tops. These afterwards fall off & are succeeded by others. He says that the spots are a little itchy upon their first breaking out, but this goes off. He observed them, first upon his face, six weeks ago. It is only five months, since he had a similar eruption which also appeared first on the face & from it spread over every other part of the body After being treated at the Dispensary for six weeks, the spots entirely disappeared. During this time, he had a box of Unguent Saturninum, & some Glauber Salts which completely removed his complaint. He is in other respects well. 20th Rx Acid. Vitriol ℥i. Ag. Font. Mucil. G.
