    Complains of shortness of breathing & violent pain in her back, attended with great weakness & trembling of the limbs. She imputes these complaints to a miscarriage which she had about a year ago & which brought on an irregular & profuse discharge of the menses which has continued ever since & for three or four days before the menses come on, she has sickness at her stomach alternate chilliness & heat over her whole body Pulse about 86 tongue rather whitish, not thirsty.

    Rx. Elix Vitriol acid. ℥i. Ag. Menth ℥VII M Cap ℥p bis indies

    24 Has no uneasiness from her medicine & the menstrual discharge has not returned at the usual interval of about 15 days. Cont. Elix. Vitriol. u. a.

    31. The menstrual discharge returned on Monday last, & has gone on as usual. All her symptoms much as before. Cont Elix Vitr Acid & Cap. Pulv. Cort. Peruv ℥i om. m. & v.
