    DEP/DUA/1/22/27 (Normalised version)

    James Anderson

    (1779-1780)

James Anderson, treated with Cicuta for a gland swelling of neck of Scrofulous [character]

And I think with manifest advantage.

Continued under care for about month after last spoke of him.

During that time although not entirely removed, yet very considerably diminished.

And when left off medicine very little remains of it.

Although therefore from this case would by no means infer, that will be always successful, yet consider as an addition to many other instances in which have seen it used with advantage.
