    Christian Watt

    (1779-1780)


    Case of Christian Watt, considered as an affection of Leprotic kind, & proposed to treat by means of Vitriol acid.

    And that both as taken internally & applied externally.

    In former way however so far disagreed with stomach that obliged to discontinue.

    But from use under latter form affection was completely removed.

    Was not therefore necessary to have recourse to other measures suggested.

    And consider case as affording example of activity of this application.
