In case of Helen Essex employed to very little purpose great variety of different medicines.
Could hardly say that from use of astringent obtained even temporary diminution of Menorrhagia. And even then was in general with augmentation of other affections. Shows therefore that success in other instances should not lead us to be positive in prognosis
