Climate Change Full Interviews

We have been conducting oral history interviews with medical professionals relating to climate change.

The aim of the project is to capture, share and preserve the experiences of healthcare workers on the impact of climate change and health.

Dr Sarah Bartlett's work focuses on geriatric and stroke medicine. She works as a Registrar at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

Professor Jill Belch OBE is a Scottish academic who specialises in vascular medicine.

Jill is Past President of European Society of Vascular Medicine, Division of Molecular and Clinical Medicine, Ninewells Hospital and Medical School.

Professor Liz Grant is Chair of Global Health and Development at the University of Edinburgh. Liz is also a co-director of the University of Edinburgh’s Global Compassion Initiative.

Professor Johannes Hugo is Head of Family Medicine at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. His work focuses particularly on community-orientated care, including homelessness.

Dr Helen Kingston is a general practitioner in Frome, Somerset. In addition to her work relating to climate change, Helen is also a co-founder of Compassionate Frome, a project designed to improve support for, and connections with, patients.

Dr Sidrah Lodhi is Assistant Professor of Endocrinology at King Edward Medical University, Lahore and practices in Mayo Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan.
