Despite much international humanitarian aid over many years, the inequity in healthcare between high- and low-income countries remains striking today. The College is keen to play our part in international efforts to develop a coordinated strategy towards achieving equity of health status and healthcare provision globally. We want to facilitate opportunities for our Fellows and Members to get alongside local healthcare professionals, to support training and education and to enable delivery of high-quality, sustainable healthcare locally. The College is developing closer links and partnerships with several low-income countries including Malawi and Zambia.

The volunteering and partnerships map below contains information our Fellows have provided and contact details for more information. Partnerships with opportunities for volunteering are highlighted in yellow (Volunteering marker). If you have a partnership you would like to add please contact Sophie Milton. If you are interested in international medicine you might also be interested in the RCPE Global Health Prize.

RCPE International Conferences: Over recent years the College has been designing and delivering educational symposia and conferences in international locations. In 2019/20 RCPE will be collaborating and partnering with government bodies, academia, and our Fellows and Members to bring together policy makers, health practitioners, academic scientists, and researchers to explore solutions to global health issues and address local healthcare needs through the provision of high quality and innovative educational content. Current events are being planned across Asia. If you are interested in discussing these, or other collaborative opportunities, please contact Joanne Hannah (Deputy CEO) at
