Care Quality Commission
Friday, 4 August, 2017

The Care Quality Commission is conducting a number of consultations on its proposed changes to the regulation of health and adult social care services. This includes changes to the structure of registration and clarifying definitions of registered providers.

The College response largely agrees with the changes proposed in the consultation and notes the importance of accountability, and coordination to ensure comparisons can be drawn across services and providers.
