Further Information

I graduated from Newcastle University in 2015 and subsequently completed my Foundation and Core
Medical Training in the Northern Deanery. I’m currently a respiratory teaching fellow at the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead, which involves teaching the undergraduate clinical programme as well
as working on a busy respiratory ward. Alongside this I am undertaking the Medical Education PGCert at
Newcastle University to enhance my teaching skills. I’m returning to training in August with an IMT3
stand-alone post in Northumbria. I am interested to see the impact of the new curriculum on my
training and the challenges associated with the transition.
