The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE) is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Programme Manager to support  a number of projects in our growing Quality Research and Standards Unit.  

The RCPE is an international professional organisation for physicians.  We provide resources and information to support and facilitate training and professional development for physicians throughout their careers.  The RCPE develops standards of medical care and training and influences health policy.  We ensure that the views and practical clinical experiences of our membership are taken into account by health policymakers throughout the UK.

Key responsibilities of the Programme Manager role include the coordination of a range of work streams in clinical and professional standards, workforce planning and quality improvement initiatives.  Ideally applicants should be able to demonstrate success in project and programme management in a health related setting and have experience of or interest in quality improvement and/or research.  The role requires excellent organisational and administrative skills in addition to well-developed IT capability and analytical competence.
