The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh is seeking to appoint a motivated and experienced Graphic Designer at an exciting time for the College as we implement a refreshed brand and identity across our communications. We are looking for a dynamic designer to work across multiple briefs in a busy organisation.
Our successful candidate will provide a professional and creative service to the College and work closely with colleagues across all departments. Their key responsibilities will be to lead the creative design for the production of marketing and communications materials in a variety of media, including digital, print and multimedia. The materials will promote services to our current and potential Fellows and Members, educational events to a wider audience of delegates and potential sponsors, and the College’s venue and conference facilities to potential clients and external audiences. They will also provide design and typesetting support for the Journal of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
The College is an international professional organisation for physicians. We facilitate the training and professional development for physicians throughout their careers. We also lead in developing standards of medical care and training and influencing health policy throughout the UK.
The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Head of External Relations and Policy and the Marketing Communications Manager to plan the best ways to reach and engage our target audiences through digital and print design.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a positive and proactive approach with significant experience in a graphic design role (in house or agency). The role requires experience across the full design mix, excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a dynamic approach.
