Consultant Physician in Acute Medicine, Raigmore Hospital, Inverness and Caithness General Hospital, Wick and Divisional Clinical Director for Medicine, NHS Highland.

I trained in the North of Scotland and Tasmania, Australia in acute medicine with an interest in rural healthcare. I have particular interests in medical HDU, ambulatory care and acute medical care across the Highlands of Scotland.

I'm the divisional clinical director for medicine across NHS Highland, working to unify services and promote excellent medical care in Highland Scotland. I'm also passionate about developing educational opportunities within the Highlands, from promoting experience for school leavers in health care to those in senior medical positions.

Out with medicine I enjoy outdoor mountain and water sports with my family, and I am a member of the Cairngorm mountain rescue team.
