Education & Events Programme 2017–2018 | 15 14 | Education & Events Programme 2017–2018 International Course in Medicine of the Older Adult 2018 Mon 14 – Fri 18 May 2018 | #rcpeOlder18 This popular course, run annually by the College, is designed to update experienced physicians, consultants and senior trainees in elderly medicine from across the world about developing areas in the specialty. Each of the five days has its own topic and there is an attractive social programme incorporating a medical history tour of Edinburgh. Feedback is consistently excellent. Edinburgh Oncology Course Mon 25 – Fri 29 March 2019 | #rcpeOnc19 This course is designed for trainees in clinical oncology at the start of their preparation for the FRCR exam part 2 and trainees in medical oncology at the start of their preparation for MRCP(UK) Specialty Certificate Examination in Medical Oncology. Specialty doctors and specialist nurses find the course very useful, as do consultants looking for a refresher. The programme includes lectures, MDM discussions and clinical case scenarios, and consistently receives excellent feedback from delegates. Mentor training workshops We organise workshops for small groups of mentors taking part in our Mentoring Scheme for recently appointed consultants.
