Professor Arvind Sadashiv Godbole, FRCP Edin Born: 24/03/1933 Dr Godbole was Hon. Prof. of Medicine (Rtd) Grant Medical College, Mumbai and Hon. Physician (Rtd), GT Hospital, Mumbai, Diabetologist in the Dr. Balabhi Nanavati Hospital and the SL Raheja Institute for Diabetes, Mumbai. He wrote Full Life with Diabetes (1974) for practitioners as well as more than 20 other books on various subjects such as diabetes, problems of old age, socio-cultural aspects of drugs, vitamins. He was a keen student of the history of medicine.
