Dr Anne Exley Walker, FRCP EdinBorn: 26/05/1933 [With thanks to Chesterfield Today (obituaries) 9th February 2010] Dr Anne Exley Walker of Wingerworth died in Ashgate Hospice, aged 76. Born in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, she trained in Medicine and her specialty Dermatology in Sheffield before being appointed Consultant. She was very active in the Wingerworth commmunity and local church, and enjoyed gardening, reading and corresponding with family and friends worldwide. A cat lover, she enjoyed socialising. A spinster, she leaves a brother, Bill, eight nieces and nephews, thirteen great-nieces and nephews and two great-great nieces.
