Dr Robert Godfrey Saner Born: 20/01/1920 Dr Saner did his internship at Pretoria and was also a captain in the SA Medical Corps. He was a registrar and assistant physician at both Baragwanath and the Johannesburg Hospitals. On qualifying Robert went into private practice for 40 years. He was also a consulting physician to Tara and the Vereeniging Hospital, as well as having a part-time post in the oncology department at the Johannesburg Hospital. In addition, he consulted for the Institute of Occupational Diseases and was involved in primary health care.
