Draft Patient Focus and Public Involvement (PFPI) Strategy 2012-15
Deadline for response:
13 January 2012

Background: NHS 24 invited the College to participate in a consultation on its new Patient Focus and Public Involvement Strategy for 2012/15. NHS 24 believes that effective engagement with patients and the public will enable it to move forward to deliver high quality patient services. The new draft PFPI Strategy aims to set out a framework to put engagement with patients and the public at the heart of its work.

In order to ensure that the Strategy can achieve NHS 24's vision, NHS 24 wished to consult with a range of stakeholders including NHS 24 staff, members of its Public Partnership Forum, Clinical Governance Public Panel, voluntary organisations, NHSScotland Boards and members of the public.

Respondents were asked to review the draft Strategy and provide NHS 24 with any comments and suggestions they may have.
