The affairs of the Club are managed by a committee of six, each of whom is normally in office for  three years: a Chairman (Professor Anthony Seaton), Honorary Secretary (Dr Jean Keeling), Honorary Treasurer (Dr Kirsty Muirhead) and three Ordinary Members (Dr Beverly Bergman, Dr Angela Thomas and Dr Helen Zealley). It receives a great deal of willing administrative support from the College.

The Committee in 2014 amended the Club’s constitution, which can be read below. It now allows for a reciprocity between the Senior/Retired Fellows Clubs of the UK and Ireland Physician Royal Colleges, whereby a retired Fellow or Collegiate Member of one College will be welcomed as a member by the Senior Fellows Club of another should he or she come to live in that other’s area.

This initiative of ours has been endorsed by the other Colleges. The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland currently have no such club but have expressed interest in the idea. Certainly, we would welcome as members any retired Fellow or Collegiate Member of the RCPCH or RCPI who came to live here.

We can also attend each other's talks. For example, we are invited to the RCPL's club's annual Newcastle meeting. This facility has also been agreed between us and the Senior Fellows Club of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
