introductory lecture, same language apart from minor differences
in wording. 5. must be Rutherford, 1750 also, if 4. is - or, of course,
both Whytt, but from evidence of E.U. Dc.3.90-2 I think Rutherford
is certain. "Whytt 1." must therefore also be Rutherford.
