May be by Robert Whytt. Bought in Sheffield and donated by Dr R W Innes Smith, 1923.
[4. & 5.] These are the same (20/32) cases RS [4(1.2)6.5], same introductory lecture, same language apart from minor differences in wording. 5. must be Rutherford, 1750 also, if 4. is - or, of course, both Whytt, but from evidence of E.U. Dc.3.90-2 I think Rutherford is certain. "Whytt 1." must therefore also be Rutherford. [reclassified as 4(3) above.] Some of the hand is that of the writer of Monro II, 10. DWT 1.8.83 [DT]
