The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh owns a six volume collection of 652 prints compiled by the College in the Nineteenth Century. The collection is primarily comprised of early modern engraved portraits of medical practitioners. This exhibition contains a selection of thirty portraits accompanied by a brief description, which focuses on the artistic representation of medical professionals and the medical profession.
