This event is a collaboration between the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Royal Botanic Garden.

The day begins with a tour of Painting Paradise and the garden at the Palace of Holyroodhouse – the site of the original Edinburgh physic garden – with exhibition curator Sally Goodsir. The day continues at the Royal College of Physicians Library and physic garden with Iain Milne, Sibbald Librarian, RCPE. It concludes at the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh, where a trip to the library is complemented by talks with garden historian and RGBE tutor Johanna Lausen-Higgins and Head of School of Horticulture, Phil Lusby, MBE. A detailed itinerary will be sent out before the event.

Ticket includes refreshments and travel between sites. Please bring warm clothes and suitable walking shoes. Please arrive at the foyer of The Queen's Gallery entrance.
