Education

The RCPE provides a range of postgraduate educational services and professional support for doctors at all stages of their careers. Delegates participating in RCPE educational event.

This includes –

  • an extensive programme of educational events including Evening Teach-ins (aimed primarily at Trainee Doctors and videolinked around the UK), Update Symposia in Specialty areas, in General and Acute Medicine and on emerging ‘Hot Topics’ in medicine, international consensus conferences and MRCP(UK) revision courses

  • an online archived series of webstreamed lectures presented at RCPE educational events (access for Fellows and Members only)

  • an online programme of General Medicine Continuing Medical Education (CME) (access for Fellows and Members only)

  • continuing professional development (CPD) for physicians

Ethical Sponsorship

The RCPE has developed an Ethical Sponsorship Policy to support commercial partners for education and other events. Under this policy, sponsoring companies play no part in planning the content of educational programmes and the College does not endorse any commercial products.
