RCPE Online EducationThe new RCPE online education portal is now ready for Fellows, Members and Associates of the College to log on to.

The portal contains:

  • Streamed lectures from Symposia in many specialties, with accompanying abstracts from speakers
  • Specialty modules (eligible for CPD points) to help you keep general medical knowledge up-to-date
  • Streamed lectures from Evening Medical Updates in “the top 20” most common medical presentations
  • A section on professional and clinical practice, which will include blended learning modules being developed to support new consultants and final year trainees, the first of which will be available by the end of October 2011

The site will be further developed over the next months, with plans potentially including the establishment of a journal club, a difficult cases forum, and additional content and MCQs to supplement content from symposia (enabling CPD points to be applied for).
