EU Commission Survey on Working Time Directive

The European Commission has begun their process of seeking the five year report on the implementation of the Working Time Directive from all member states and the Department of Health will coordinate the response on how the Working Time Directive has been received and implemented within the UK health services. To ensure that as many NHS organisations as possible have the opportunity to feed into this important process and to allow a coordinated reply to be composed and agreed, the Department of Health invited NHS bodies to complete the set of 5 consultation questions.
