Medicines are the most common healthcare intervention and are integral to Healthcare Improvement Scotland’s work programme. We are now consulting on our 2015-18 Strategic Delivery Plan for Medicines to underpin Driving Improvement in Healthcare: Our Strategy 2014-2020.
The 2015-18 Strategic Delivery Plan for Medicines and the associated driver diagram outline priorities in Driving Improvement together with suggestions of high level priorities for our medicines work programme. Some of these priorities are established programmes from 2012-15 and some are suggestions for new programmes. All proposals are, at this stage, ideas for consideration. The priorities outlined in the driver diagram are intended as high level objectives and individual work streams that contribute to achieving these will be decided upon following this consultation.
