The  treatment  of  choice  for  anal  cancer  is  chemoradiotherapy.  Skin reaction and bowel symptoms such as tenesmus, diarrhoea and bleeding are common side  effects.  We  report  a  patient  who  developed  stridor  as  a  result  of  chemo-radiotherapy for anal cancer and discuss the pathogenesis and potential consequences.
