£100,000 - £110,000 per annum subject to negotiation according to experience

12 month interim contract. The College will consider a secondment for this role.

We are looking to recruit an Interim CEO to join the College for a 12 month period. Working with the RCPE’s President and Council, you will lead the on-going development and delivery of the College strategy and provide exceptional leadership as the College moves forward in an increasingly digital and international arena.

We would like to hear from you if you are an experienced influential senior manager with board level experience, ideally within a membership body, educational or healthcare environment. Educated to degree level or equivalent you will have an excellent working knowledge of governance, budget management, strategic delivery and operational management. A confident communicator, you will be a highly motivated leader who is comfortable working across a complex network of stakeholders while responding to an ever changing environment.

RCPE wishes to appoint an Interim CEO who will:

• increase the international profile and influence of the College
• innovate the lifelong education and training offered  to physicians and their teams
• deliver the needs of its membership
• influence health policy through the collective voice of the fellows and members
• lead the development and delivery of a coherent strategy
• lead the senior management team in support of elected Office Bearers
• improve the digital maturity of the organisation
