The Royal College of Pathologists has been partnering with the BBC in a series of events across the UK to commemorate the first world war.

The events are run by the BBC entitled World War 1 at Home. This coming weekend the 1st and 2nd of August they will be in Dundee with their ‘Blood and Bugs’ exhibition set in a replica WW1 Nissen hut with an interactive journey through medical developments from 1914 to 2014.

The stand compares blood transfusion in 1914 with that of today and also talks about infection how it is diagnosed and treated comparing the 100 year gap.
